Overview
In a significant step forward for the Knowledge Project, the United Nations Development Programme’s Regional Bureau for Arab States (UNDP RBAS) and the Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Knowledge Foundation (MBRF), are proud to introduce “FutureSkills4All” an ambitious new initiative focused on fostering regional skills development. Curated for the next generation of Arab States' workforce and partnered with Coursera, our initiative promises tailored learning experiences. We blend employability with soft skills, digital acumen, and functional abilities, ensuring a holistic approach to professional development.
This programme is crafted with the vision to enhance market-relevant learning, broaden employment prospects, and contribute to sustainable economic growth in the Arab States. Our aim is simple: We want to empower citizens in our region, particularly those from disadvantaged and vulnerable population groups, with the skills they need to thrive in an ever-evolving global job market. Whether you're an entrepreneur, a fresh graduate, working in the public or private sector, or a student or graduate of technical and vocational education and training (TVET) programmes, or even if you're currently unemployed - this initiative is for you!

Beneficiaries can register for the FutureSkills4All initiative through one of two distinct methods: either by direct application or through nomination by a third-party partner agency. Under the direct application method, learners can apply to the initiative on their own, without a nomination from a partner agency. This approach offers a more open and inclusive enrolment process, catering to a wide variety of individuals seeking skill development opportunities. On the other hand, the nomination method involves learners being identified and nominated by partner agencies. These agencies could be government departments, non-profit organizations, industry associations, or other affiliated entities. The aim is to utilize the expertise and networks of these partner agencies to reach specific groups who might greatly benefit from the initiative and to address particular human capital requirements.
