Dana Kelly is Director of Development and Reporting at the TIMSS & PIRLS International Study Center. She has worked on the two programmes, as well as other international assessments, since 1994.
Prior to rejoining Boston College in 2019, Dr Kelly led the assessment activities for USAID-funded education projects in low- and middle-income countries. She was previously branch chief for international assessments at the National Center for Education Statistics of the US Department of Education, where she oversaw US participation in TIMSS, PIRLS, Programme for International Student Assessment (PISA) and other international studies, and represented the United States at the IEA General Assembly and as vice chair of the PISA Governing Board.
Dr Kelly has an MA in Developmental and Educational Psychology and a PhD in Educational Research, Measurement and Evaluation, both from Boston College.
